I agree with Mac when he says Junior's first basketball game is against Willpinit. This is very unluckuy for Junior. Another irony is when Mr.P is hit with Junior's book, but he apologizes. This entire book is filled with ironies. That is another reason why the book is so good. The irony that really hurt Junior was when his Grandma was killed by a drunk driver, and she had never had alcohol in her life. When Junior finds out his sister is dead, he can't stop laughing because he is so grateful his father didn't kill himself on the way to pick him up. These ironies change Junior's life in so many ways. While some make him sad and unhappy, some of them make him a stronger person.
